SKIP BARBER RACING SCHOOL

Get excited, racing fans! Skip Barber Racing School will open its first indoor go-karting academy at American Dream in East Rutherford. The 40,000-square-foot karting facility overlooking the Manhattan skyline will be open 365 days a year.

Skip Barber Racing School has trained more than 350,000 drivers at its driving schools, racing schools and private events. Its alumni have stood on the podiums at NASCAR, INDYCAR, SCCA, SRX, World Challenge and IMSA events. 

“We could not be more excited to open our first SBRS karting experience, within this unrivaled entertainment/retail center – what a great fit,” said Dan DeMonte, CMO of Skip Barber Racing School. “We’ve trained some of the best in motorsports, and will bring this same dedication to excellence by providing karting fans with the ultimate racing experience.” 

Skip Barber Racing School was founded by John “Skip” Barber in 1975. It’s known and loved for its racing schools but also does corporate events and teaches both new and seasoned drivers.

 Skip Barber Racing Go-Kart Academy will join an epic lineup of entertainment at American Dream which includes DreamWorks Water Park, Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park, LEGOLAND Discovery Center, SEA LIFE Aquarium, Big SNOW indoor skiing, the Tilt Museum, indoor ice skating, indoor mini golf and more.
