MasterChef Junior returned to television for its sixth season on March 2. Featuring renowned chefs Gordon Ramsay and Christina Tosi, this culinary competition challenges 12 girls and 12 boys (all kids!) to cook their hearts out for a MasterChef Junior trophy and white apron, plus a $100,000 grand prize. That’s a lot of lunch money!
One of the young chefs is a Jersey boy, an 11-year-old from Old Bridge named Anthony Martino Jr., according to mycentraljersey.com. Anthony’s Italian roots definitely fall in line with his home state, having been nicknamed Tony Clams for his signature pasta and clam sauce dish.

You can cheer Anthony on every Friday at 8 pm on FOX. If you plan on watching, expect challenges like making the perfect chicken and waffles dish, creating a pop-up restaurant, taking on a Blue Apron mystery box and more.
