Known to patients as “Dr. Rose,” Dr. Rosalie Nguyen makes patients feel at home while providing personalized, best-in-class dental treatment for infants, children, adolescents and patients with special needs. Dr. Rose works alongside pediatric dentists Drs. Rachel Edelman and Gopi Surti to change the way children feel about dental visits and procedures. The practice’s mission is to ensure that each child and family is treated with respect and support while receiving the highest quality dental care in a safe, nurturing environment.

“We always take the time to answer questions and educate our patients and parents,” says Dr. Rose, a mother of three boys. “We build trust with patients by explaining what we’re doing every step of the way and treat each patient as if they were our own child.”

A Variety of Treatment Modalities

Dr. Rose and her team utilize state-of-the-art techniques and offer an array of treatment modalities in their modern, all-digital practice. Treatment options include the minimally invasive silver diamine fluoride treatment, nitrous oxide, in-office oral sedation, IV sedation and general anesthesia at Hackensack University Medical Center.

After earning her DMD at UMDNJ and completing a pediatric dental residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, Dr. Rose underwent extensive training at the Rose F. Kennedy Children’s Center in treating patients with special needs. She started working in private practice in 2005 and opened her own office in 2009.

“We provide all of these different treatment modalities so we can be a one-stop shop for families,” Dr. Rose says. “There’s no need to bring your child to multiple practices for their dental care—we do it all right here.”
