New Jersey Audubon is hosting a Winter Woodpecker Wander at Hawk Rise Sanctuary.
Join Angus Macaulay, NJ Audubon Teacher Naturalist, for a walk along the Hawk Rise trails. Hawk Rise is home to several woodpecker species and winter is a prime time to spot them.
The walk will feature a discussion about these amazing birds and observe them in their in their natural habitat.
This program is appropriate for individuals of all ages.
Come dressed for the weather.
Hot beverages will be served afterwards.
The walk is free, but you must register for tickets.
