Blu on the Hudson will host an exclusive, one-night-only dinner and wine pairing event in collaboration with Master Sommelier Larry Stone.
Lingua Franca is an acclaimed winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, founded by Master Sommelier Larry Stone.
Executive Chef Juan Carlos “JC” Ortega of Blu on the Hudson will prepare a 5-course tasting menu, designed to complement Larry’s curated selection of critically acclaimed red and wine wines.
The Wine and Food pairing will be as follows:
· Bluefin Tuna, King Crab and Uni, with avocado and meyer lemon – Paired with Lingua Franca Avni Chardonnay 2022
· Crispy Soft-Shell Crab, with sunchoke puree and sugar snaps – Paired with Lingua Franca Estate Chardonnay 2022
· Pan-Seared Dover Sole with caviar beurre blanc – Paired with a Lingua Franca Sisters Chardonnay 2022
· Blu’s Filet Mignon with truffle crème spinach – Paired with Lingua Franca Tongue N Cheek Pinot Noir 2018
· Camembert & Quince with black pepper and pistachio – Paired with Lingua Franca Mimi’s Mind Pinot Noir 2021, as well as Lingua Franca Mimi’s Mind Pinot Noir 2022
