Westminster Handbell Choir Christmas Concert

The 20-member Westminster Handbell Choir will be “ringing” in the Christmas season with holiday classics and original works for handbells.

The Westminster Concert Bell Choir is composed of undergraduate and graduate students at Rider University. This year marks the 48th year of the handbell curriculum at Westminster Choir College, which was the first institution in the world to develop such a program. This is their second time performing at the First Presbyterian Church.

The Westminster Handbell Choir uses the largest range of handbells in the world and Choirchime® Instruments. Gillian Erlenborn will be conducting.

The acoustics in the 150-year-old sanctuary of FPC of Freehold make this concert ideal for handbells.

After the concert, those attending will have a rare opportunity to ring some of the handbells and chimes.
