Thunder Over the Waves Airshow

The 2026 Thunder Over the Waves Airshow returns to the Wildwoods on September 11 (practice day) and September 12 (main event). The show will feature an array of headline aerial acts, including military aircraft, custom-built planes, highly skilled aerialists, and parachuters.

The Tribute to the Armed Forces is part of the America 250 tribute.

Marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, organizers are expanding the event to include special recognition ceremonies for military personnel, veterans, first responders, and their families, complemented by live military flyovers and a commemorative performance.

The 2026 Airshow will also introduce the Flightline Club, offering guests an upgraded viewing experience with reserved seating, hospitality, and exclusive access.
