Thomas & Friends™: Explore the Rails!, an interactive and multi-sensory STEM-focused exhibition inspired by the popular British children’s series on PBS KIDS in the US, will transport PTM visitors to the Island of Sodor for fun and learning with the familiar faces of Thomas, Percy, and friends.

Thomas & Friends will engage children with varied physical and cognitive abilities through simple and complex STEM challenges, from sorting and shape identification to engineering tasks, such as fixing Percy’s wobbly wheels, building train routes around the train table and adjusting the train schedule using math skills.

The goal of Thomas & Friends is to remind children of how “useful” we all are and to nurture their growth in 21st-century STEM skills that lay the foundation for future success in school, work, and life.
