The Susquehanna Mine Train

Board the River Train and debark at “Snyders” station. This is the site of The Susquehanna Mining Company as well as a corn maze.

You will have two hours on site.

Bring a picnic lunch to sit under the pine trees. Light snacks and drinks are available in the gift shop.

At The Mine you will learn the history of the mine.

One lucky miner will push the plunger and blow the mine.

After the short tour each miner will be presented a basic bag of mining “rough.” You will pan for real gem stones you can take home.

On site is the mine store with a selection of gifts and minerals.
