Student Archaeology Classes

The Museum of American History at Deptford, NJ will again be offering Student Archaeology Classes. Students will unravel the myth of what an archaeologist does in the field by taking part in an actual excavation on the grounds of the Andaloro Farmhouse.

For students 7 to 14 years old.

Classes held throughout July are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm.

Cost: 1 day $30, 2 days $40, 3 days $50

The museum’s permanent exhibits include artifacts from the pre-Columbian through the Colonial eras, American farmstead, antique hand tools and equipment, the Pine Barrens, glass, and a fossil exhibit.

The museum is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm. Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for children.
