Spring Stained Glass Suncatcher Workshop

You’ll craft your own sparkly suncatcher inspired by budding flora and fauna.

In this 3-hour class, you’ll learn every step of the stained glass-making process:
– Cut glass into intricate shapes.
– Grind your pieces for smooth, precise edges.
– Foil your design to prepare it for soldering.
– Solder your piece into a beautiful, polished work of art.

Perfect for beginners and seasoned creators, this workshop provides all the tools, materials, and guidance you need to make your own stained glass piece.

You will use a variety of teacher-supplied tools and materials including glass, glass cutters, pliers, safety goggles/masks, glass grinders, and soldering irons.

It’s strongly recommended to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. You will be given disposable masks for the soldering portion, but can bring your own face mask if you’d like.

This is a mostly standing activity.
