Description
Stop by the museum April 11-14 during Spring Break and enjoy the following free activities:
- Storytime and a craft in Discovery Den at 12 pm daily. You'll read Swirl by Swirl: Spirals in Nature by Joyce Sidman. This colorful and artistic picture book teaches all about the spiral, and its many appearances in nature. Follow along through the story to see how many different spirals you can find. After the story make a snail craft. Appropriate for kids up to 5 years old.
- Drop-in art making in the Imagination Studio from 1 -3 pm daily. You can find examples of paper mosaics throughout the museum. Find inspiration and make your own to take home, Appropriate for all ages.
Weekday planetarium shows will also be available at 10:30 am, 11:30 am and 1:30 pm. Admission to the planetarium is $10 for adults, $5 for children aged 12 and under.
