Description

Start off the holiday season at Historic New Bridge Landing as the Bergen County Historical Society celebrates Sinterklaas Day. All 3 Jersey-Dutch sandstone houses will be open for tours throughout the day. Stop by the Demarest House for a visit with Sinterklaas. To celebrate the 1st night of Hanukkah, Ariel Woll will light the menorah and explain more about the holiday at 1:30 pm and 3 pm in the Campbell-Christie House. Also in the Campbell-Christie House the gift shop will be open for visitors to shop for that unique holiday gift and refreshments will be available for purchase as well. The society's authentic Jersey Dutch out-kitchen will be open with interpreters cooking on the open hearth. Pinecone bird feeder and ornament making will be available for children throughout the afternoon. Ticket reservations for the 35th Annual Colonial Christmas Concerts featuring Linda Russell and Companie will be on sale also. Free parking available on site.
