Read & Pick: Vegetables

Read & Pick combines a hands-on farm activity with your young child followed by an education program with stories highlighting the fruit or farm area.

For this program, young farmers are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about vegetables. The group will read books about vegetables followed by an educational component. Then everyone will pick his or her own small container of asparagus. Farm staff will explain how vegetables grow and how they should be picked.

The cost is $12 per child and includes the container of asparagus.

There are two sessions on Tuesdays, at 9:30 am and 11 am, lasting about one hour.

Online pre-purchase of tickets is required.
