It’s the month to be patriotic and gather all things red, white & blue! But why were the colors red, white & blue chosen? How did the current day American flag evolve? What are the meanings of “half-staff” and “half-mast?” These questions & more will be answered during the workshop, plus participants will create their own flag. Outdoors in a shaded area. Workshop limited to 10 children. During the workshop, parents/chaperones can take a guided museum tour museum, enjoy light refreshments and/or browse museum’s Dutch Door Gift Shop, where you’ll discover unique gift items, antiques & collectibles. All proceeds go towards the museum. NJ social distancing guidelines apply at all times. Bring your own mask to wear - required for all. Children must bring their own water/beverage/snack & be able to use the bathroom independently.

Note! Museum parking & entrance: From River Rd. turn onto Hillcrest Dr. At top of Hillcrest, left onto Logan Ln. Proceed straight to upper parking area (cul-de-sac). Limited handicap parking (call ahead) & museum entrance at bottom of hill.
