Description
Join Us for the eighth Annual NJ Makers Day
Saturday March, 26 2022 at the Cranford Community Center
The Cranford Public Library will be kicking off our NJ Makers Day celebration from 10am-12pm in the Community Room of the Cranford Community Center. Stop by our maker stations to test out coding robots, create a DIY water filtration system, and make art using recycled materials! This portion is geared towards children, but all are welcome.
Then at 2pm, join us in the theater for a virtual reality demonstration led by a local designer who has created a virtual reality app that allows users to play classical music with a wave of a wand. Registration for this portion of our NJ Makers Day program is required and can be done online: https://bit.ly/3rOcrSm
We'll be giving out sourdough bread starter kits prepared by Breadsmith at both the morning and afternoon programs, while supplies last. You will also have a chance to win a Breadsmith gift card at our virtual reality program.
For more information please visit the calendar page on the Cranford Public Library website www.cranfordlibrary.org or call 908-709-7272. Find out more about New Jersey Makers Day at www.njmakersday.org.
