Description
Now playing at the Dreyfuss Planetarium thru December 30; Wednesday – Sunday at 2 pm. Recommended for adults and children ages 10 and up (35 minutes) This planetarium program showcases the exciting exploration of dark matter, from the Big Bang to the world's largest and most powerful particle collider. See the first hints of its existence through the eyes of astronomers and then plummet deep into an old gold mine to visit the most sensitive dark matter detector on Earth. From there, journey across space and time to CERN’S Large Hadron Collider, speeding alongside particles before they collide in visually stunning explosions of light and sound! PLANETARIUM ADMISSION: Adults $6.00; children under 12, seniors, and college students $4.00. Planetarium tickets are not included in General Museum Admission and must be purchased in addition to General Museum Admission at the front desk upon entering the Museum. We suggest arriving an hour early to purchase tickets; shows begin promptly.
