Peddler’s Village Safari in Sand

For the fourth consecutive year, Peddler’s Village will host a summer-long, village-wide display featuring larger-than-life sand sculptures.

From mid-May to approximately June 1 (weather dependent), you can watch sand sculpting teams apply their artistic and technical skills to create the magnificent sand sculptures on the property.

Then, from approximately June 1 through August 31, Safari in Sand will showcase several large safari animals including elephants, rhinoceros, lions and gorillas; plus several smaller sand sculptures as well as sandboxes designed for play.

During the summer-long display, you can pick up a field guide from the Visitor & Event Center to begin a self-guided educational adventure. Children who complete the field guide scavenger hunt will receive a prize.

Guests 18 years or older can enter an overnight stay giveaway, which includes a one-night stay at the Golden Plough Inn, the on-property inn at Peddler’s Village, breakfast for two, and a $150 dining gift card. Winners will be announced monthly.

Peddler’s Village will be open every day this summer.
