Party in Orange and Community Appreciation Day for National Gun Violence Awareness

Younity (formerly Womanspace) will hold a Community Appreciation Day, a community-wide gathering to honor lives lost to gun violence.

Younity will hold the party along with the City of Trenton’s Party in Orange, in collaboration with Teska Frisby and Moms Demand Action.

It’s also Wear Orange Weekend for National Gun Violence Awareness.

The day begins at 7 am at Donnelly Homes (875 New Willow St.), where the Trenton Community Street Team hosts registration for the Anti-Gun Violence March.

At 8 am, led by A Better Way and Isles, Inc., participants will march through several Trenton neighborhoods, concluding at Cadwalader Park (1000 West State St.), which is the
site of the Community Appreciation Day and Party in Orange.

From 10 am to 1 pm, Cadwalader Park will come alive with live performances, music, food, family-friendly activities, advocacy stations, and resource tables—all centered on a shared commitment to end gun violence and support survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence.

All are welcome. All are needed.
