This October, the Young Professionals Group and Development Committee of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton (RWJUH Hamilton), an RWJBarnabas Health facility, will hold its 2nd Annual Paint the Town Pink campaign starting October 1, in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Throughout the month, Hamilton Township and surrounding Mercer County communities will come together to show support for cancer patients, their journeys, and survivorship.
The region-wide initiative presented by Caesar’s Bagels and Deli in Hamilton Township will support the Cancer Center at RWJUH Hamilton.
Community businesses, members, and local organizations will Paint the Town Pink by decorating storefronts, lighting up buildings, offering pink-themed specials, or hosting creative events and proceeds will benefit the Cancer Center at RWJUH Hamilton.
RWJUH Hamilton’s partners like Sky Zone Hamilton, Pickleball Kingdom, Outside the Lines Art Studio, and Primo Hoagies have each committed to supporting this initiative during October.
The 6th Annual Paint the Bar Pink, the signature event this year, will take place on Wednesday, October 22, at Killarney’s Publick House, located at 1644 Whitehorse Mercerville Road in Hamilton Township. Tickets are $35 and include two drink vouchers and an appetizer buffet. Guests will enjoy local celebrity bartenders, can enter raffles and prizes, specialty pink drinks, but more importantly come together as a community to support cancer patients, their journey, treatment, and care. For tickets, visit rwjbh.org/paintthetown.
