Does your child play an instrument and want to play with other kids? The second Monday of the month Open Band Session is the perfect opportunity to make new friends and experience the joy of playing with other students. The purpose is to get students excited about the potential of being in a rock band and getting to do a live performance.

Open Band Sessions at Bach to Rock are led by professionally trained band coaches and music instructors. Young musicians will experience what it's like to work together with other kids to reach a common goal.

The 90-minute Open Band Sessions will also include an Open Mic segment where students can take the stage and perform for their peers. B2R Open Band Sessions are free of charge for currently enrolled students. There is a $5 admission fee for attendees not enrolled at Bach to Rock.

Musicians ages 7-17 can join the 90-minute jam sessions that include one hour of coaching from a pro band coach and 30 minutes of open mic. Learn to jam with other musicians, write songs, play covers, plan a stage show and perform with other kids. Participants should have the ability to perform a full song on their instrument.

This will cover all styles and genres, from pop to rock to Broadway to jazz to metal:
