One-Two-Three Twill Basket

Create a square herringbone weave base using ¼-inch reed.

Turn up into a cathead shape base. Weave the sides in a one-two-three twill pattern. Finished diameter is approximately 9 inches.

Students may need to finish their basket at home. You may have to cut and tuck and lash-on the rim.

Skill level is intermediate to advanced.
