The Hunterdon Art Museum’s popular “School’s Out Workshops” return during the annual NJEA Convention on Nov. 7 and 8. These programs encourage children ages 6 to 10 to experiment with paint, clay, pastels and other media.

Classes are taught by artists, educators and professional storytellers to ensure an enriching and rewarding learning experience.

Thursday, Nov. 7

Draw, Paint, Sculpt (9 a.m.--noon): It's all in the title! Kids will create frame-worthy works of art that will amaze and delight.

Mix It Up! Clay, Paint, Fiber (1-4 p.m.): Kids can explore working with fiber arts, painting and more in this fun, fast-paced mini-camp.

Friday, Nov. 8

Sculpture Sampler (9 a.m.--noon): Explore the world of three-dimensional art with clay, plus soft materials such as felt, fabric and stuffing.

Webs, Wings, Watercolor (1-4 p.m.): Your child will have a blast working with a variety of media including watercolor, pastels, printing ink.
