NJ Audubon: Easy Native Plant Propagation Workshop

January 4 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

$22 – $28

New Jersey Audubon is hosting an Easy Native Plant Propagation Workshop at its Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary.

Residential landscapes are becoming increasingly more important for the survival and habitat of native pollinators and wildlife. In this workshop, led by Stephanie Punnett, participants will be shown how to create a wildlife garden and a simple way to start native plants from seed.

Up to five mini-greenhouses will be made from repurposed materials while choosing from over twenty species of native seeds to plant.

Since last year’s workshop, a few more species of native plants have been added to the seed collection.

As a bonus, participants can make a pollinator home for native bees from recycled materials for the backyard.

All materials will be provided.

The cost is $22 for members and $28 for non-members. Registration is required by January 2 at 4 pm via Eventbrite.
