Butterflies get lots of attention, but their nocturnal cousins are often overlooked despite the fact that they are considerably more abundant and diverse.  New Jersey’s 2500+ moth species offer an amazing array of shapes, colors, patterns, and sizes to anyone who takes the time to give them a closer look.  Jill Dodds is a biologist and nature photographer from Kingwood Township who has spent the last few years focusing her lens on moths all around the Garden State.  Join her to view some of these beautiful creatures and learn what you might find in your own backyard.  We will enjoy a PowerPoint of Jill’s photographs and then go outside to see what moths are around the park if weather permits.
