With inspiration from the Newark Museum’s fashion-based exhibitions and world-renowned collections, Young Makers will engage in a variety of hands-on projects that explore both traditional and high-tech tools, materials, and technologies. Throughout the 11-week program, we’ll create:
Stop-motion animations

Laser-cut textiles
3D modeling and printing
Circuits and algorithms for environmentally-responsive wearable electronics.
Portfolios that chronicle each student’s successes and challenges
Course runs each Friday, starting October 12 through December 21 from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
