Newark Arts Festival

Artists will channel the power of joy to foster strength, harmony and revolutionary change through arts and ideas.

During the week, there will be: open gallery hours, a Gold Ball, the Make Tiny Joy workshop, the Halsey Art Block Party, various exhibits, Craft & Convos, Night Fest, Art Night Out, Art Night Out with Brick City Run Club, the Sugar Hill to Sugar Hill costumed art and jazz exhibition, Sean Battle’s Don’t Run album release party, the Brick City Comedy Revue, NAF Kids, the Youth Joy Jam, Roots & Renaissance Garden Mixer + Artist Showcase, open studios, Rhythm as Resistance afternoon of dance, Words Unleashed open mic, and the Justice and Divinity African American Liturgy conversation and performance.
