Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Marky Ramone, drummer for the legendary band The Ramones, will give a live drumming demo and a Q&A session as part of a charitable event to benefit New Concepts for Living (NCFL), a Paramus-based not-for-profit and leading provider of comprehensive support services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
There will also be a charity auction featuring signed drumsticks, original drum head art created by Marky, and a personal studio session at Marky’s New York studio, where the winner will have the opportunity to learn drumming styles ranging from Ramones classics to swing and jazz.
This charitable event was inspired by Marky’s longtime manager and friend, Harvey Leeds, whose daughter lives with Rett Syndrome and participates in NCFL’s programs.
