Mountain Creek Resort’s July 4th Fireworks Celebration

Mountain Creek Resort will host the Vernon community fireworks celebration this Independence Day.

During the festivities, guests can enjoy a relaxing evening on the Great Lawn outside of the Red Tail Lodge while grabbing a bite to eat at the Biergarten or exploring a variety of local vendors offering food, treats, and unique goods.

Guests can also sit back and listen to live music by The Spins, or join activities such as a petting zoo, a variety of bounce houses, and giant games including cornhole and giant pong.

Upon arrival, members of the Vernon, McAfee, Highland Lakes, and Pochuck Valley fire departments will collect a $20 parking fee per car; 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the volunteer organizations.

Mountain Creek adventures will be open, like Sky Ride on The Cabriolet until 8 pm, which is included with admission; or take a ride on the Alpine Mountain Coaster until 8 pm, with tickets sold separately online.

Bring your own picnic blankets and lawn chairs.

Fireworks go off after sunset, at around 9 pm.
