Morey’s Piers Oktoberfest

The festive event runs for five weekends and includes Oktoberfest-themed decorations, live German music, food, beer, and all the games and rides at Mariner’s Pier.

Oktoberfest goes from September 12 to October 12. The pier will open from 6-10:30 pm on Fridays, 12-10:30 pm on Saturdays, and 12-5 pm on Sundays. Tickets are required.

• Morey’s Boardwalk Bier Run
  Saturday, September 13
  Morey’s Piers will host its inaugural Boardwalk Bier Run to kick off Oktoberfest. The 2-mile course steps off at 5:30 pm from PigDog Beach, located at the end of Mariner’s Pier at Schellenger Avenue. Participants will make their way along the scenic Wildwood beach and boardwalk with refreshing beverage stops at Curley’s, Adventure Pier, and more. The finish line at Wilhelms on Mariner’s Pier will reward runners with a commemorative stein, a giant Bavarian pretzel, and an evening of live music and festivities. Registration is required and starts at $35.
• Opening Keg Tapping
  Saturday, September 13
  Join the Morey family and team as they kick off Oktoberfest with their ceremonial keg tapping at 6 pm. This coincides with the finish of the Boardwalk Bier Run and immediately precedes the annual Stein Holding Contest.
• Live Music and Entertainment: Mariner’s Pier will feature live entertainment each day of Oktoberfest. This will include a band on Friday night, Saturday afternoon, Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon. In addition to these bands, there will be The Oompah-Delics, a strolling polka band moving throughout the pier playing German-style polka music.
• German Food: Founder’s Grub and Pub, Wilhelm’s Beer Garden, as well as concessions will all feature authentic German food and beer. There will also be a RootBier Garden and family activities for all ages.
• Founder’s Haus
  Saturdays, September 20 and 27
  Morey’s Piers is debuting Founder Haus, an immersive, ticketed Oktoberfest dining experience at Founder’s Grub and Pub. Attendees will enjoy family-style appetizers, a special German fare menu, and seasonal beers.
