Monmouth County’s 250 for 250 Challenge

Walk or run 250 miles to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

Starting October 27, 2025, — exactly 250 days before America’s 250th birthday — the challenge is to walk or run 250 miles – anytime, anywhere – by July 4, 2026. That’s just one mile a day to celebrate America’s semiquincentennial.

You can submit your Virtual Results on the RunSignUp page anytime between October 27, 2025, and July 4, 2026.

Medals will be available for in-person pickup at the Office of the Monmouth County Clerk, located at 33 Mechanic Street in Freehold, between Monday, July 13, and Friday, July 31, on weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
