Miles for Malcolm 5K/5-Mile Run

The 4th annual Miles for Malcolm 5k/5-mile Run is hosted by Tara and the Rev. Kim Wildszewski in honor of their son Malcolm, who passed away in May 2020, just after his second birthday, from Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood.

The Kids Fun Run (8 yrs old and under) begins at 9 am, with the 5K and 5-mile directly after. The race begins and ends at Pennington Montessori where each of their kids attended, and where Tara is a member of the board.

This festive remembrance includes face painting, games, live music, and more.

SUDC is the fifth leading category of death in children ages one to four, yet SUDC receives no public funding. The SUDC Foundation provides all services at no cost to families. Proceeds benefit the SUDC Foundation’s mission to promote awareness, fund research, and serve those affected by SUDC.
