Description
According to the American Heart Association, 80 percent of cardiac events may be prevented with education and lifestyle changes. As part of its ongoing commitment to provide northern New Jersey communities with knowledge about, and access to, important health-related topics, Summit Medical Group announces a community lecture for Heart Month: Living a Heart Healthy Life, on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 7 p.m. at the West Orange Public Library.
The Living a Heart Healthy Life lecture will be presented by Liliana Cohen, MD, FACC, a cardiologist with Summit Medical Group. Dr. Cohen will share her expertise about healthy choices one can make to positively impact their heart health. She will also share vital information on typical mistakes to avoid and how to recognize the signs and symptoms of a heart attack.
While Summit Medical Group community lectures are free to the public, registration is requested.  Please call 908-277-8889 or visit: summitmedicalgroup.com/events to register.
