
View the Solar System’s two biggest planets. Saturn will be the first look, as you view it and its rings.
Then observe the “King of Planets,” Jupiter. Jupiter will be at opposition, meaning it is at its closest approach to the Earth. You should be able to view the bands on the planet and its four largest moons.
To end the evening, you will scan for other seasonal features of the night sky.

All children must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for the program.
