Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is teaming up with Jewish Family Services to open a mobile food pantry that will help alleviate hunger in Atlantic City and the surrounding areas.
Jewish Family Services of Atlantic County currently provides the only full-service food pantry on Absecon Island that is open five days per week, with additional satellite pantries located within the municipal building and courthouse.
Beyond its food pantry locations, JFS has a mobile pantry that can provide pop-up services, and the organization provides Meals on Wheels services to home-bound clients.
In support of MGM Resorts International’s commitment to hunger relief, Borgata will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 14 to launch this important initiative and will award a $100,000 grant to Jewish Family Services to support their ongoing efforts in the community.
As this year’s capacity-building grant recipient, JFS will expand its operations to reach 150,000 meals served between July 2025 and June 2026.
The ceremony takes place on the Borgata Surface Parking Lot.
