DESCRIPTION

Jewish Family & Children's Services of Northern New Jersey is holding it's 9th Annual Ride To Fight Hunger on Sunday, June 23, 2019.  The ride and walk event with 5 course options takes participants through the Hudson Valley and is enjoyed by men, women and children.

Jewish Family & Children's Services of Northern New Jersey is a nonprofit organization providing a full range of integrated social services through licensed therapists for all the members of a family, including adults, children, teens, and seniors. Programs and services include Mental Health Counseling, Senior Care Management, Emergency Services including Food Pantries in Teaneck and Fair Lawn, Information and Referrals, Career, After-school, and Support Group programs

Funds raised will benefit the JFCS Meals-on-Wheels program, delivering 48,000+ meals to homebound seniors and disabled individuals in Bergen, Passaic and Hudson counties. Funds also support the JFCS Food Pantries that serve nearly 200 families though the Teaneck and Fair Lawn locations.

When: Sunday, June 23, 2019. Participation options and check-in times for the 3, 10, 25 and 25 mile routes are:

CHECK IN RIDE TIME
50 mile route: 6:30 a.m. 7:00 a.m.
25 mile route: 7:30 a.m. 8:00 a.m.
10 mile route: 8:30 a.m. 9:00 a.m.
3 mile route: 9:00 a.m. 9:30 a.m.
Hike: 8:30 a.m. 9:00 a.m.

Where: Kickoff will take place at Temple Emanu-El, 180 Piermont Road in Closter, NJ.

REGISTRATION FEES & FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENTS:
Adult Registration:
Early Bird Special March 1, 2019 - May 31, 2019:
$50.00 registration with minimum fund raising goal of $130.00

June 1, 2019 to June 23, 2019:
$70.00 registration with minimum fund raising goal of $130.00

Youth Registration:
Early Bird Special March 1, 2019 - May 31, 2019:
$18.00 with no minimum fund raising goal

June 1, 2019 to June 23, 2019:
$20.00 with no minimum fund raising goal

All registered riders will receive entry to the Food & Beverage and Family Fun Area. Pre-registered riders will also receive a JFCS Wheels for Meals t-shirt.
