Homeschool: Insects in the Stream

In each session, your child will immerse themselves in a new and exciting nature topic, fostering curiosity and a deeper connection to the natural world.

Students will wade into the creek to discover the creatures living beneath the surface. They’ll collect a variety of specimens, use dichotomous keys to identify them, and uncover what these organisms reveal about the health of the waterway.

Students should wear closed-toe shoes that can get wet and bring a change of shoes and pants to change after the program.
