
Chestnut Hill is lighting up the season with its annual Holidays on the Hill celebration, from November 22 to December 25.
The Holiday Garden Railway at Morris Arboretum & Gardens returns November 22, open daily from 10 am to 4 pm through December 30. The attraction features rail cars traveling along more than a third of a mile track, set within a landscape of twinkling lights and sounds.
Chestnut Hill’s famous Stag & Doe Nights return, offering a shopping experience along the cobblestone streets of Germantown Avenue, where local businesses will stay open later and offer one-of-a-kind, handcrafted items. There is free parking every Wednesday from November 29 through Christmas. Dates are December 3, 10 and 17.
Join the annual Circle of Trees celebration at 5:30 pm on November 22 at the Woodmere Art Museum. The free community event offers hot chocolate, cider, cookies, festive music, and goodie bags for children.

Chestnut Hill Community Association’s Annual Holiday Parade is December 6. The parade steps off at 9 am from the corner of Rex and Germantown Avenue and makes its way to Market at the Fareway (8221 Germantown Avenue).
Chestnut Hill Community Association’s Holiday House Tour is December 13. From 10 am to 4 pm, ride the event trolley from stop to stop, or visiting at your own pace in a self-guided tour.
