The Downtown’s annual Holiday Open House and Tree Lighting takes place on Saturday, December 4 at the Washington School, located at 289 Main Street. Festivities begin with Breakfast with Christmas Characters from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., with the last breakfast served at 12:15 p.m. Photo opportunities with Santa will be available from 10 a. m. - 3 p.m. in the Washington School Gym. Guests can also enjoy a guided trolley tour throughout the Historic Downtown & Eagle Rock Reservation from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Trolleys will depart every hour from Washington School parking lot.  At 6 p.m., Santa arrives on a firetruck for photos opportunities and treats in Santa’s Workshop, as well as the lighting of the old-fashioned Christmas Tree.
