Join Ruth Ochs and the Westminster Community Orchestra for their annual family holiday concert on Wednesday, December 12 at 7:30 p.m. in The Robert L. Annis Playhouse on the campus of Westminster Choir College. Free-will monetary and non-perishable food donations to benefit area food pantries will be accepted. The free performance will feature holiday favorites such as Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride and A Christmas Festival, Carol of the Bells, The Christmas Song, and the Fantasia on Greensleeves. The Westminster Community Chorus, conducted by Sinhaeng Lee, will join the orchestra for Bill Holcombe’s Festive Sounds of Hanukah and the Hallelujah Chorus (vocal parts are available for the audience). The concert will also include Rimsky-Korsakov’s rousing poloniaise from The Christmas Eve Suite and John Rutter’s Look at the World. No tickets are required for the hour-long program.
