The Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey (GSCSNJ) twill open their new Experience Center. After more than a century dedicated to serving New Jersey, GSCSNJ will come together with members of the community for this special occasion.

You are invited as they cut the ribbon for their newest facility, which is a dedicated space designed specifically to provide Girl Scouts opportunities for exploration, development and growth through troop meetings, workshops, awards celebrations and more.

At 3 pm, the scouts will recite the Girl Scout Promise, Law and Pledge.

Next, Ginny Hill, CEO of GSCSNJ, and Hamilton Mayor Jeff Martin will make some remarks.

Around 3:30 pm the official ribbon cutting will take place.

Afterward, stay for a reception, refreshments and Girl Scout demonstrations. You'll see demos by the Dream Squad, which is the Girl Scouts' robotics team' they are set to compete in the FIRST LEGO League Challenge World Festival in Houston this April. There will be activities. Plus, adults can sample wines paired with Girl Scout cookies.

The event is free, but RSVP is requested.
