Description
Freecycling gives residents an opportunity to give away usable items they no longer need or want. But that's only half of it. The best part is that you can take anything that someone else doesn't want anymore.
It's a big trading event and it's all free.
Freecycling is a fun way to give discarded but functional items a new life and keep them from filling our already crowded landfills.
Freecycling is a community event for people to exchange usable items for personal use, not for resale.
Typical freecycled items include:
Clothes
Shoes
Handbags and luggage
Sports equipment
Toys and games
Books
School and stationery supplies
Home decor
Bicycles
Small furniture
Kitchen supplies
Small appliances
Tools
Prohibited items include: mattresses, TVs, computer monitors, paint, VHS tapes, computer disks, pesticides, tires, toiletries, unframed mirrors, large furniture pieces, heavy appliances, machinery, food or any hazardous materials. Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission reserves the right to reject items.
