Hear ye, hear ye!! Come one, come all, to the Milltown Senior Center for some festive holiday music, being performed by the grand Central Jersey Wind Ensemble, a 35 member wind ensemble concert band conducted by one of Milltown's own, Barbara Krauss Santoro! Concert begins at 2 PM, but ye may brave the weather an hour beforehand and have joyful discussions of our town's great history and wonder at various pieces of Milltown artifacts which will be on display for all to see! Staying after the concert to do so shall also be admissible. Be sure not to travel over the river and through the woods before this spectacular concert and festival is over for a special jolly guest will be showing up whom all the kids should enjoy! To make sure ye weary travelers have the vitality to continue on your journeys, some light refreshments, cocoa, and coffee will be offered. So make sure your sweet tooth is ready and your stomach has room for some choice confections. Ye olde Historical Society merchandise shall be available for purchase as well! Milltown memorabilia and curios from the storied celebration of the Milltown 100th Anniversary of 22 years gone by now will be on sale! The famous Milltown Historical Society campfire mugs, the perfect size for a hot cup of cocoa or your favorite brew, will be available. Milltown magnets, blankets, and banners shall be awaiting your purchase as well! Did somebody say ornaments? We hope so, for we will have some fantastical ornaments on hand celebrating the Milltown Historical Society's first Holiday Festival and Concert! They will be dated for this year and will have an important bit of famous Milltown History incorporated onto them. Quantities will be limited! All monies raised from this event, will go to the Milltown Historical Society to be used to enhance our program, preserve our many artifacts and photographs, maintain our museum buildings and grounds, and to educate the undying importance of preserving our small town's historic looks, charm, and buildings that cannot be replaced. Tickets are available at the door. Adults: $10, Seniors: $8, Children 12 and under: free (must be accompanied by a paying adult)
