Spend Father’s Day (on June 15) at the Whippany Railway Museum aboard the museum’s vintage excursion train.
Board a Club Car and embark on a 10-mile, 45-minute, round-trip excursion through Morris County.
Step back through the decades as you travel the route of “The Whippanong Trail.” Back in Whippany, visit the museum building with its gift shop and historic exhibits, with hundreds of artifacts on display. There’s an operating Lionel O gauge model railroad in operation.
All ticketholders receive a special keepsake.
Also on Father’s Day, take part in the grand opening of the Alan S. Wishengrad Pavilion at 12 pm. The exhibits inside are dedicated to the memory of Alan Wishengrad, who was a longtime, dedicated volunteer member of the Whippany Railway Museum.
