Family Saturday: The ABCs of Women’s History

Join the Alice Paul Center in welcoming Rio Cortez and Lauren Semmer, the authors and illustrators of The ABCs of Women’s History, for a special Women’s History Month Family Saturday.

Semmer and Cortez will read their new book, sign copies which will be available to purchase in the gift shop, and provide arts and crafts to visitors.

This event is free and open to children of all ages.

The Alice Paul Center will be open from 12-3 pm for free self guided tours. Storytime will begin at 1 pm. Kids crafts – like special women’s history coloring pages, button making station, and more – will be free and available for children of all ages from 12-3 pm.

There will be hot chocolate, coffee, tea, snacks, and treats available to purchase to support the Girls Leadership Council.
