Description

A charming, well-seasoned blend of folktales from around the world will kick off the long weekend with art, performance and invention.

Family Folktale Day begins with a feature presentation of "Stone Soup" performed by the Pushcart Players in the Bickford Theatre at 11:30 am. There will be a second showing at 2 pm. 

Continue the day exploring the galleries that include Native American art, photos of Rock 'n’ Roll legends, and dinosaurs.

Make sure to pick up a timed ticket for the Smithsonian Spark!Lab and join in on the hands-on challenge of inventing.

Admission price for the "Stone Soup" performance and museum admission is $12 for Morris Museum members or $18 non-members.
