This fall, the County College of Morris’ Longo Planetarium will present three shows for the general public on the second and fourth weekends of the month.
The planetarium will feature a new show for kids. Cosmic Colors will take you on a wondrous journey across the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Discover why the sky is blue, Mars is red and black holes give off X-rays.
In Messengers of Time and Space, visitors can get an in-depth look at how large telescopes are mapping the universe and patrolling the sky for supernovas, pulsating stars, comets, and asteroids.
Join the planetarium’s astronomer under the dome for a live tour of the night sky in Starlit Nights using the planetarium’s state of the art Digistar 7 system.
Note: all shows include a tour of the night sky and planets.
Select dates, from October 10 to December 13.
