Fun Activities

Visit our barnyard of animals, adventure barn, hay bale & corn mazes, pony rides, pumpkin picking & painting, pedal tractors, and enjoy fresh, open air. Have fun at the hippity-hop corral and duck races. Explore the hands-on fun in our discovery barn, little tots farm store and junior mechanics shop.

Enjoy the live music while taking in the fresh air and open space of the farm. Walk among nature on the farm trail and wind your way through the cornstalk maze.

Adventure Barn

It’s a must-see addition to the farm, designed and decorated by our own Elaine Madigan. The theme of the Adventure Barn this season is “Gee, New Jersey?” Walk through the life-sized storybook adventure, filled with the wonder of all that you can discover about New Jersey, wild, weird and inspirational in the Garden State, the Jersey Devil, amazing discoveries and much more brought to life.

Live Music (12-4 p.m.)

Every Saturday and Sunday during the eight fall weeks, Terhune Orchards features live music played by some of the area’s best local talent. For a list of the performing bands, see A Month of Music on the Farm.

Apple Fresh

The Terhune Orchards Farm Store and Outdoor Farm Market are filled with farm-fresh produce, baked goods, Terhune Orchards wine, pies and cider. Stop at our Barn Door Cafe for apple cider slush and donuts. Pam’s Food Tent is filled with country fare such as pulled pork sandwiches, BBQ chicken, homemade salad, cider donuts, fresh pie and much more.

Wine Orchard

In our historic apple orchard, enjoy a pre-poured tasting flight or a glass of red, white or fruit-based wine, with plenty of open-air seating. The seasonal favorite, apple wine, is made with our own apple cider. Seating is limited to 2 hours and 8 guests maximum per group. Fall weekend admission required for winery.

Pick Your Own

Pick Your Own apples and pumpkins are fall favorites at the farm. Choosing just the right pumpkin for your jack-o’-lanterns or decorations can be a family affair. During pumpkin season, we have a pumpkin painting station set up on the weekends so children can decorate their own pumpkins.

Bring Fall Home

The farmyard is loaded with vibrant displays of colorful mums, pumpkins and apples, which are perfect backdrops for taking a family photo and will give you inspiration for choosing decorations for your home.

Visitor Information

Come to Terhune Orchards any weekend in the fall for fabulous farm fun, fresh air and music. Rain or shine, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Admission is $11 discounted online ($14 at the gate) (children under 3 are free).
• Admission includes winery and farm store, music, barnyard, nature trail, adventure barn, pedal tractor area, hay bale maze, corn maze, painting pumpkins and sunflower pollinator trail.
• Discounted timed admission tickets must be purchased in advance HERE.
• Tickets are valid for 3 hours after entry, to give everyone time to visit the farm.
• Additional fee for some items: pony rides, pumpkins, rubber duckies, food
• Convenient parking is available at the farm on Cold Soil Road.
