Extreme Edison

The New Jersey Hall of Fame (NJHOF) will host Extreme Edison, a week-long celebration from February 11-17 to honor the birthday, life, extraordinary inventions, and legacy of NJHOF inductee Thomas Edison.

The public is invited to enjoy interactive exhibits, educational discussions, and hands-on activities that highlight Edison’s remarkable contributions and spark curiosity and creativity in visitors of all ages.

Q&A with John Keegan, chairman, CEO, and president of the Edison Innovation Foundation
Screening of John Keegan’s TED Talk, “There’s a Better Way to Do It. Find It,” in the Jersey Proud Theater

Friday, February 14
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a screening of Edison’s historic film “The Kiss”
Attendees are invited to recreate this iconic moment in history for a chance to win a special buy-one-get-one deal

Saturday, February 15
“Caturday”
Screenings of Edison’s “Boxing Cats” short film, one of the first cat videos ever recorded
Phonograph Exhibit & Experience: Attendees will have the opportunity to use versions of phonographs that evolved over the years to record a message to a loved one or recite a poem by NJHOF inductee William Carlos Williams (first come, first served)

Edison Impersonator Show brings Thomas Edison back to life!
Science Expos: Witness a spinning disc illusion, learn about wind force, and discover how electricity flows through a circuit at 1 pm and 2:30 pm. RSVP here.

The NJHOF at American Dream is in Court G Level 3, directly across from Oreo Café. The space is accessible by elevator and escalators in Court G Level 1, near the entrance to Nickelodeon Universe and DreamWorks Waterpark.
