Jeff Kinney, author of the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series, is celebrating his newest book, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid #19: Hot Mess" with The Hot Mess Tour, which is coming to the Wyckoff Family YMCA, hosted by local independent bookstore Bookends.

Kinney will host an interactive game show-style event called "The Hot Mess Show" where audience members will have the chance to join him onstage for a family-style, friendly competition.

Kinney is also teaming up with First Book to make a nationwide donation of 100,000 books to schools.
